BY THE GRACE OF FIREFLIES is the 5th play of my 7-play cycle about the many lives directly and indirectly affected by one soldier's tour of duty in Iraq and subsequent suicide. FIREFLIES follows Michelle as she grows increasingly concerned at the presence of a swarm of fireflies that appear in her yard following her ex's suicide. When her new boyfriend reveals a secret regarding her ex, she must question what she's holding on to and why.
